Last night we had the opportunity to enjoy the new episode of Doomsday Preppers: No Stranger to Strangers. I am serious when I say that I enjoyed the episode. You know we are usually critical of the show’s episodes, but this one was different in the sense of it had a lot of positive to take away from it.

American Blackout – The Post Premier Review

Last night was the premier of American Blackout. Like myself, a lot of folks didn’t know what to expect with this movie. Since the inception of Doomsday Preppers and all the shows that have trailed it, people have expressed their views on whether the folks portrayed on these shows are normal or nuts. But with last night’s showing of American Blackout, I think NatGeo has redeemed themselves and shed some positive light on the reality of being prepared. WARNING: This review will contain some spoilers so be forewarned.

We just got a heads up from the folks at NatGeo about their new movie American Blackout, premiering on October 27th at 9:00 p.m. ET.  No phones. No lights. No running water. What would you do if the whole country went dark and you didn’t know if or when the power would be coming back?

Doomsday Preppers Episode Afterthoughts: Disaster Doesn’t Wait

Last night we have had the pleasure of viewing another installment of Doomday Preppers on NatGeo Channel. This episode titled, “Disaster Doesn’t Wait”, featured three families preparing for a specific disaster scenario. This review will be short as I was not impressed by this episode. I was disappointed as each episode has provide something new or cool, but the only interesting bit of information was the couple who drank their own urine.
