Today’s Positive Post For April 17th, 2014

I have been kicking this idea around. We get so caught up with discussing how to prepare for this, that, and the other. It seems that most preparedness discussions concentrate on negative events that we plan for and there is little to no positivity in the conversation. So I thought we should try to change that. Starting today, we will try to post at least one “Positive Post” per day. Our goal is to hopefully put a smile on one of our readers’ face or maybe help someone who is having a crappy day. Believe it or not, this is therapeutic...

Pennsylvania Teen Convicted Of A Crime For Recording Bullies At School

Editors Note: Every school should have a zero tolerance for bullying. We do! The bullies sometimes grow up to be the undesirables you could meet during an emergency. The school administration and school police should be a safe haven for a student to go to in the event they are being bullied. The school in this article, the police, and the judge should not only be ashamed of themselves, but should also be held accountable for their acts of negligence. Please take a moment and spread this article on the Internet. This is worth bringing attention to...

Let’s Celebrate!

We would like to take a moment and ask everyone to join us in celebrating S.P.’s birthday this week!!

The Most Important Prep You’ll Need

Whether you are a seasoned prepper or just starting a preparedness plan, the question of what is the most important item should I have in my gear or plan always comes up. Is it guns and ammo for self-defense? Is it a years supply of food and water for sustainability? If not, keep reading.

Merry Christmas From Prepper Central

We would like to wish you and your family a safe and joyous Christmas. While we usually talk about preparedness which includes gloomy subjects, we would like to say that we are very thankful to have met so many wonderful people since the inception of Prepper Central.

These 20 Photographs Will Leave You Speechless And Make You Think

Sometimes we have to take a detour from our norm and see what else there is in the world. I saw this on the Interwebs and felt it should be shared. It is not preparedness related (it could be), but I think it will help our readers gain some perspective on life today. With Christmas almost here, people are still complaining about what they don’t have or how things are not going as planned. Please stop and look at the world around you.

What Happened To Us?

I have decided to change gears this morning because this is something that everyone, prepper or not should be concerned about. I know our readers and supporters are wonderful people and we truly appreciate you. We always discuss topics which have a doom and gloom feel to them. Even though some of our content is instructional how-to and in some cases, what if scenarios, but they still have a sad undertone to them. When you visit this site (and soon be reading our monthly magazine), I want you to feel empowered, not defeated.
