Compound Bow Basics: How NOT To Draw One!

While we have had some readers ask questions about adding archery to their preps, we feel it is our duty to provide all the information we can to make this journey a safe and enjoyable one.  Let’s talk about how you should pull back the string (draw) on your new compound bow.

Due to their mechanical makeup, compound bows are very powerful. They can send an arrow downrange at many feet per second like a firearm does a bullet, but they can be dangerous to the user if not properly used or maintained. We found a video online that may help you avoid any pitfalls. It is quite a funny video as well so enjoy!
