Thank You To All Who Served

This special day is a hard day for some of our readers and some of us at Prepper Central. For some it brings back good memories of donning a uniform and feeling proud to have taken the oath to defend the Constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic. But for others, it brings back memories of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while defending our great Nation.

Today there are businesses who are giving discounts or free services to these deserving Heroes. There will be parades and celebrations for these people who may have not received any type of recognition at all since they left the military. While there are so many who have served and been forgotten, there are still many who have come home and didn’t receive the help that a Hero should have. Why am I making these statements? It is because these are the Heroes who should not be forgotten.

I hope that our homeless Veterans may receive a place to stay and a warm meal this day. I pray that the Veteran who is suffering alone from PTSD is able to find peace this day. This is their day. If you see a Veteran today, please make an effort to thank them for their service and let them know that they are not forgotten.

Lastly, I have a direct family member who is currently deployed in the Middle East. I know he is out there in harms way and we will not see him these upcoming holidays. While I know he is bravely serving our country and is watching out for the others with him, not a day goes by that I don’t think about him. He is loved and missed dearly.

To all who have served and who are currently serving; while we can only say thank you as it is for a debt we can never repay. May God bless all of our Veterans.
