Quiet Survival: The Recurve Bow

Another bow you can consider if you are looking to add archery to your preps is a recurve bow. These generally cost less than a compound bow. Though some don’t deliver the high poundage draw you may be looking for out of a compound, you can still pack a wallop with the recurve.

The one aspect I like about the recurve bow is the ability to do a field repair. In comparison to a compound bow, it is a night and day difference. Also, getting a good foundation with a recurve is a great start into the world of archery. Here is a video on shooting the recurve. Let us know what you think.

Have fun!!
